Connect Claude to Salience without an API key
Add the Salience MCP server to Claude and approve it in your browser. New to Salience? Create the account, choose Free or a 14-day trial, set up your first website and start a paid plan from the conversation.
The Salience MCP server now supports OAuth, so connecting Claude no longer means creating an API key in the dashboard and pasting it into a URL.
How it works
Add https://mcp-salience-lens.com/mcp as a connector in Claude.ai, or run claude mcp add --transport http salience https://mcp-salience-lens.com/mcp in Claude Code. Claude opens a Salience page in your browser where you sign in with Google or a code we email you, pick the organisation and approve what Claude may do: read only by default, or read and write if Claude asked for it and you agree. That's it. The connection appears under Organization → API Access, and revoking it there disconnects Claude.

If the email is new, the same page creates your account and lets you choose Free or a 14-day trial of any paid plan, no card needed. Claude can then take you through setup with three new tools: create_website registers your site and returns its ingest key, get_setup_instructions gives the exact steps for your platform, and get_setup_status confirms when logs start arriving.
Paying when you're ready
get_billing_status, start_trial and start_checkout complete the picture. Checkout hands you a Stripe page to open in your browser; card details are entered there and never in the conversation.
API keys keep working exactly as before, and every plan, including Free, can use the API, MCP server and CLI.
