See what AI is actually doing on your site
A new dashboard panel splits AI traffic by intent — models training on your content, AIs answering real people's questions with it (RAG), and crawlers indexing you for AI search — each with trends and top bots.
AI traffic isn't one thing, and the dashboard now says so. The new "What AI is doing on your site" panel splits it three ways:
- Training on your content — corpus crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot,
Bytespider…) hoovering pages to train models.
- Answering people about you — live, user-triggered fetches (ChatGPT-User,
Perplexity-User…): an AI answering a real person's question with your content, right now. If you care about AI visibility, this is the number to watch.
- Indexing for AI search — crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot…) that
let AI search engines cite you.
Each bucket shows request volume, the change against the previous period, and the top crawlers behind it — with a note on how much of the traffic is verified as genuinely coming from the operator it claims. Impersonators stay where they belong, under Bots.
