Faster, more reliable ingestion during traffic bursts
Large bursts of incoming logs are now processed well within delivery timeouts, so high-traffic moments land on your dashboard in real time instead of falling back to delayed batch recovery.
When a site sent a very large burst of traffic in a short window, our ingest pipeline could occasionally take too long to process the full delivery batch. The data was never lost — it fell back to a recovery path — but it arrived on the dashboard late instead of in real time, and could trigger spurious "ingestion delayed" warnings.
We've reworked how large deliveries are processed so that even the biggest batches complete comfortably within the delivery window. If your site gets a sudden rush of traffic — a launch, a viral moment, or an aggressive crawl — you'll now see it live, as it happens.
